The window at the new bebe boutique in the Royal Hawaiian Center reads “bebe loves Hawaii” and apparently Hawaii loves bebe coz a whole lotta people turned up at the private grand opening celebration June 5.
The room was packed and it was pretty hot the first hour or two. Nevertheless, the bebe addicts found a way to juggle drinks and pupu with dressing rooms as 5 percent of purchases made that night, and through this weekend, will benefit the YWCA’s Dress for Success program.
Bebe CEO Greg Scott surrounds himself with beauty. From left, Giselle Pineda, Crystal Pancipanci, Shana Peete, Greg, Jessica Hoffman and Yasmin Dar.
Rain just gave birth in March and is already back to her modeling form, in bebe, of course.
Jeweler Robert Palma with Tani Lynn, above, and wife Kyoko, below, who wanted an opinion on a couple of pairs of white sandals. I had to stop and ask about his suede jacket, from Asylum. The look is so L.A. rock star!
Another look at bebe style.
Marketing consultant Margaret Jen Akinaka in a Rachel Roy top.
John Heckathorn, left, with Patrick and Marissa Gey, now looking good for Louis Vuitton.
Kaleihikina Akaka in sheer black from H&M.
Tushar Dubey and his wife Ana, from Hokulani Bake Shop, created the cookies for the party. Ana insisted she never pays full price for clothing, but couldn’t resist taking home a sorbet orange peasant blouse. Never say never is what I say.

it was soooo hot that night. hot, like temperature and hot like HAWT!
That’s Sade, not Rain. Awesome party…great crowd!
