The Guida/Diaz fight is the first one that stood out to me after the top 2. This will be Diaz’s toughest test to date. Guida is one of those guys that wins some and loses some, but always puts on an entertaining fight, and I’d expect that to be the case here. We’ll get to see how Jon Fitch bounces back from the five-round beating he took at the hands of St. Pierre in his last fight, although it is interesting that it’s not part of the televised portion of the PPV.
Solid undercard overall. Machida/Silva is a battle of undefeated light heavyweights on the verge of a title shot, but doesn’t have the draw of a co-main event fight. The undercard though more than makes up for it. A lot of guys that are usually involved in entertaining fights, so it should be a good one.
