EliteXC this Saturday at Blaisdell

Fresh off of a successful debut on CBS two weeks ago, EliteXC puts on its next card on Showtime here in Hawaii Saturday night at the Blaisdell Arena.

Here’s a schedule of this week’s activities:

Press conference, Thursday, 2 p.m., King St. Cafe
Showtime “Sunset Video” shoot, Thursday, 6:30 p.m.,Magic Island
Weigh in, Friday, 2 p.m., Fashion 45 in Waikiki Trade Center
EliteXC: Return of the King, Saturday, doors open at 2:30 p.m., opening bout at 3, PPV from 4-6 on Showtime, ProElite.com bouts are 6-7:30 p.m.

Tickets range from $25 upstairs to $400 for ringside seats.

As you can see, not only is the Showtime PPV going on, but the card is loaded with some of Hawaii’s top local fighters including Icon champion Kala Kolohe Hose, Mark Oshiro, Mike Aina and Kaleo Kwan.

I’m still getting back into the swing of things after being gone for two weeks, but I’ll have plenty of stuff from the press conference and weigh ins later this week.
