State Rep. Joseph Souki has announced more of what his lineup would look like if he becomes speaker.
Rep. Sylvia Luke, a leading dissident, would become chairwoman of the House Finance Committee.
Rep. Karl Rhoads, who defected from House Speaker Calvin Say’s faction, would become House Judiciary Committee chairman.
And Rep. Angus McKelvey would become chairman of the House Consumer Protection and Commerce Committee.
“I am pleased to have representatives with such talent and solid background to chair these key committees,” Souki said in a statement.
Rep. Marcus Oshiro, Say’s choice as his successor, has called on Souki to hold a private caucus among Democrats to end the leadership dispute.

Heh. Still recall Eastwood’s presentation. Funny, even if Romney ne’er win. Ah. A Grease ended up voting for Mr. Obama; near the tail end of the election, he was doing the right things.
Still. That Eastwood thing was hilarious.

Rhoads cut a helluva deal!!! He was an early, and obviously valuable, defection.
Angus, another early defector, got a helluva plum too, a big ups from his former chair.
Kind of leaves the question, what do the core “dissidents” get?
Joe, Karl, Angus were part of Calvin’s majority. They now have 3 of the top 5 assignments.
Meet the new boss???
One aside, G K-A will not be missed as JUD chair, he was not an honest broker.

Seems one is still in the past.
Not as funny as it think it is.
