Late money

October 28th, 2012

Fund for Freedom Committee has spent $335,000 on television advertising to help former Gov. Linda Lingle’s Republican campaign for U.S. Senate, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission.

The Washington, D.C., based super PAC had only about $109,650 in cash on hand as of Oct. 17, so the donors who helped finance the ads made their contributions within the past 10 days. The interest group does not have to file another federal campaign-finance report until early December, so the identity of the donors may not be known until after the November election.

Federal campaign-finance records show that another super PAC — Freedom Fund North America — was established on Oct. 15 with the same treasurer, Michael Adams, and the same address, Adams’ Washington law office, as Fund for Freedom.

Adams is general counsel to the Republican Governors Association.

Freedom Fund North America has made independent expenditures to help Republicans in Senate races in Montana and North Dakota that are considered more competitive than the Hawaii campaign between Lingle and U.S. Rep. Mazie Hirono.

Looks like Lingle has solid support from business with this election. Yet the Dems want everyone to believe that they donkey way is how to stimulate the economy. Donkey needs to wake up from it’s a dream and get its head into this Senate race, at least.

Lingle’s recent ad pronouncing: 1) Hirono’s vote to cut billions from Medicare; and 2) Hirono not necessarily trying to keep certain Federal jobs in the state are also especially dam(ing. Was wondering when LL camp would mention those; masterful move bringing that out at the beginning of early voting and in the few weeks leading up to Nov’ 6.

Lingle should come out and say, “yeah, I did furloughs . . . to help balance the budget. And it fr!ckin’ WORKED. Well, this might be next, that is, since a Grease knew those two above bolded items would happen.

Which is it? Is the chair from the Eastwood Collection still here or not? Someone has a tough time making up his/her mind. Ba-doink!!!! Wake up.

Glad the waves didn’t hit us!!!!! Lucky we live Havai’i.

If LL is “independent,” why does the Republican US Chamber of Commerce and the Republican PACs donate so much money to her campaign?? Makes no sense if she is “independent.” Makes a lot of sense if she is shibai, again.
