Aloha readers of the Political Radar blog!

As we transition into the new Star-Advertiser, we hope to keep our political/government blog up and running. (Please bear with us as we work out the technical details.)

We also would like to welcome Derrick DePledge to our reporting team! He also will be tweeting from our main Twitter account, which has a new name: @starpolitics.

    Aloha!

I see where things are moving right along.

It looks like it’s going to be Mufi Hannemann & Norman Sakamoto on the Dem Primary ticket going into the General Election 2010. Both are social & business conservatives. Both have ties to the old school Hawaii Dems, and are reassuring to Hawaii voters.

Despite the appearances, Hawaii has transformed. I suppose reassuring figures with links to the Past will assist our populace with making the transition into the Future. Tomorrow has arrived!

Change is coming to a Hawaii near you . . . Aloha. Mike Chun

Let’s see . . . today is a significant primary vote in many states. Our political writer should have plenty of material to work with. What’s the problem here – Not in Hawaii so these races don’t affect us?
