Where’s the birth certificate?

Has the election of a Republican from Hawaii turned some Democrats in Congress into birthers?

From The Hill’s Washington Scene:

Tongue firmly in cheek, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) on Tuesday afternoon called on reporters to demand to see the birth certificate of new Rep. Charles Djou (R-Hawaii).

As Djou was being sworn into office, Frank walked the hallway of the Speaker’s Lobby off the House floor calling on the media to “do your job” and review Djou’s papers.

Good to see there is still a sense of humor within the hallowed halls of democracy.

If Djou did make his birth certificate public, we would see that his middle name is Kong.

Which brings up the possibility (conspiracy?) that perhaps his victory in the special election was pre-ordained. He was the only one of the three major candidates with the middle initial K.

He joins the delegation that includes Sen. Daniel Ken Inouye, Sen. Daniel Kahikina Akaka and Rep. Mazie Keiko Hirono.

First what I dont understand is why Bernadette…i mean Barney Frank is calling Djou out. Djou is not running for president. Well, not yet. Every politician that is in a position where it is required to be a born citizen should be able to prove his birth. Im satisfied that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii but there are no birth requirements to serve in the US government. So Barney, stop being a baby, grow up and do some real work. You’ve already destroyed your home state of Taxachusettes.

Kiana is obviously not astute enough to see that Mr. Franks is making fun of Djou’s party mates known as birthers who are obvious crackpots of the lunatic fringe of the Republican Party who seem on their way to becoming a majority. And Kiana, thanks for demonstrating the usual GOP homophobia where hatred rules. Fortunately, we will only have to endure that smug pompous are in DC for just enough time for his family to see the Zoo and Smithsonian before the voters of D1 send him packing.

Liberals are starting to make light of birth certificates in Washington, D.C.
They are taunting the constitution and the American People.

IF Obama WAS BORN HAWAI”I, PROVE IT !

A Certificate Of Live Birth just says you made it here Alive. Just try and get a state ID in any other state with that form of ID! You cannot.

Proof of a Birth Certificate will quiet ALL !

What are you afraid of Barry Obama ?

  4. Gary Andersen:

Charley was born in LA California. By the way, one need not be native born to be a US Rep.

As Hawaiian kama’aina know, a Hawaii Certificate/Certification of Live Birth and a Hawaii Birth Certificate are distinctly different in content, scope and application. A Certificate of live birth indicates that a person was born outside of a hospital/clinical environment in any location. Since Barack Hussein Obama II’s Certificatation of live birth is dated well “after-the-fact” (4 days, plenty of time to get back to Hawaii) is NOT legal evidence or even compelling evidence that he was actually born in Hawaii, and the original document may actually state “where” the actual birth occured as sworn by the parent(s). The document presented by Obama in 2008 was not the original and is not signed (certified) by anyone.

If this is an issue, many lawmakers in our present office should present their birth certificates. Sponsored workers on green cards that got laid off are still here. How come? Did they become American Citizens? Many sponsored workers should go back home since they cannot collect benefits of an American Citizen. Many choose not to become citizens but want the privelages of one.
