Preseason AP poll vote
By dreardon
Here’s how the preseason Associated Press Top 25 poll came out:
1. Oklahoma (36 first-place votes). 2. Alabama (17). 3. Oregon (4). 4. LSU (1). 5. Boise State (2). 6. Florida State. 7. Stanford. 8. Texas A&M. 9. Oklahoma State. 10. Nebraska. 11. Wisconsin. 12. South Carolina. 13. Virginia Tech. 14. TCU. 15. Arkansas. 16. Notre Dame. 17. Michigan State. 18. Ohio State. 19. Georgia. 20. Mississippi State. 21. Missouri. 22. Florida. 23. Auburn. 24. West Virginia. 25. Southern Cal.
Here’s how I voted. First eight same as the consensus. I’ll consider that a good thing, for now. The preseason poll’s a bit of a crap-shoot anyway.
1. Oklahoma. 2. Alabama. 3. Oregon. 4. LSU. 5. Boise State. 6. Florida State. 7. Stanford. 8. Texas A&M. 9. Virginia Tech. 10. Oklahoma State. 11. Wisconsin. 12. South Carolina. 13. Nebraska. 14. Why am I NOT surprised that yours wasn’t one of the 4 votes that Hawaii received?

Dave, if Hawaii beats Colorado would that place Hawaii in your top 25?

I am the biggest UH fan . . . there, now I am free to say that I don’t disagree with Hawaii not being in the top 25. You don’t return only 2 offensive starters (only one of whom was an impact player) and expect people to think you are going to have the same offensive firepower. UH is close, but sorry, not top 25.
I am not saying that UH definitely won’t light it up with the new players, I’m just saying we don’t really know. If they come out and roll Colorado, I would say they are pretty darn close.

1. I don’t know why you’re not surprised, that’s a you thing. According to the voting instructions, I’m not supposed to be biased for or against teams I cover. If you expect me to vote for Hawaii because I’m from Hawaii your expectations are not in line with what I’m supposed to do.
2. Probably not, but depending on what else happens, it is possible. If they beat Colorado and Washington, very likely.
3. My thoughts, almost exactly.

By the way, Hawaii received three votes, not four: two 25th place votes and one 24th place for four points.

Okay, good enough. At least the answer was not “no way”. I’m hoping at some point during the season the Warriors earn your vote.

Im an island boy now living in San Jose. The San Jose Mercury News has Hawaii ranked #25 in their pre season poll. Their comment: “Looking for a BCS party-crasher? Warriors become a threat to run the table if they beat Washington.”. A lot of faith here!!

The advice on this site is most helpful. It is a pity to see what some of the skin problems can do to the appearance of someone. It can turn a good looking person into an ugly person

GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU AS YOU SERVE HIM AND YOUR COUNTRY. MAY HIS PEACE BE WITH YOU AND MAY HIS ANGELS HAVE CHARGE OVER YOU. YOU LOOK THE FACE OF FEAR IN THE EYE EVERYDAY AND SAY NOT TODAY YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WIN TODAY. THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE AND PUTTING YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE FOR MY SAFETY AND THAT OF MY FAMILY.
