Comings and goings
By dreardon
Just a couple of mainland items of local interest and a recruiting tid-bit for now:
>> Former Saint Louis school standout Jacob Yoro is joining the Pacific football staff as linebackers coach. He will also head up recruiting efforts in Hawaii
Yoro was the linebackers coach at Montana for a season, and prior to that coached at Waipahu, Mililani and Saint Louis.
Pacific is resurrecting its football program this year.
>> Former Punahou quarterback Brett Kan has transferred from Princeton to USC and will compete for a spot on the Trojans depth chart this spring.
>> Two sources say Kamehameha defensive end Beau Yap has committed to Baylor. Former Radford and Hawaii player Brian Norwood is the defensive coordinator there, and former UH player Dino Babers is also on the Bears staff.
