Wahine-Anteater rewind

September 27th, 2012

Not much of a challenge from the Anteaters. The challenge was for the Wahine not to play down and I think they were successful with that in 83 minutes. UH hit 393 for the night, brought down by the 133 in Set 3. Vorster 7-1-17, Croson 14-8-33, Hartong 14-3-31, Adolpho 4-1-8, Goodman 2-0-7, Kastl 3-0-3, Hagins 0-1-2.

2 aces, 8 SEs, 52 digs, 12 by Longo, 9 each by Croson and Hartong.

UCI hit 090, 0 aces, 6 SEs, 44 digs, 9.5 blocks.

Shoji on Bobby’s show this morning

September 27th, 2012

Nothing much new. Most was rehashed after the road trip and from the Toyota exhibition

Said what the road trip show was that the Big West would going to be more challenging that the WAC.

That his son Kawika reminded him that Kawika’s Stanford team had never won at CSUN in his four years. It was a tough place to play.

Said they want to do what’s beat of the team and that looks like Hartong being on the right. Said the probablem is getting her the ball more. Said a problem is their young middles who have been inconsistent

Expects UC I to be a tough match and that Long Beach State rekindles a lot of memories, especially for the fans who have been around a long time. That UH’s fans love to hate Gimmillaro. The Beach has ended UH’s season in the NCAAs a number of times. But he looks forward to playing them.

Think that sums it up. Feel free to expand on it.
