It is getting buried on another thread so if you wouldn’t mind, please post here.
Iolani’s championship pool (Los Alamitos, Moanalua and Mid-Pacific) is in the morning (8a to 2p)
Punahou’s championship pool (Redondo Union, Santa Monica and Kahuku) is in the afternoon (3p to 8p)
As you may have read (thanks, son) that Nikki Taylor and another teammate have decided not to play senior year, apparently a coaching issue.

Reposted from another thread From Tiffers Thursday:
I was at Ann Kang for the Afternoon pools and was really impressed.
Los Al dominated their pool (handily beating Kahuku who looked sluggish for the 3pm match and then Kaiser was really confused with their lineup; it looked as if the Lib was subbing the OH out of the backrow, not the traditional way of the Libero for the MB in the backrow). Yes they lost the 2nd set to Oaks Christian, but Los Al played their subs in that set and as you see 15-4 in the 3rd, played their starters.
Kahuku played well after losing to Los Al and advanced out of their pool.
As said earlier, Nikki Taylor wasn’t even on the bench for Kaiser today; heard she won’t be playing this year. Kaiser looked real confused for the entire day with many different lineups that even the coach didn’t understand.
Redondo Union looked real impressive in their pool and Moanalua played them tough in the first set; both advanced out.
Punahou handled their pool and surprisingly, Mid-Pacific (with a coach who’s only been with the program for a couple of weeks) took 2nd from the pool.
Host Iolani played well, as did Santa Monica.
Both championship pools (in the morning) should be very good. Punahou, Redondo Union, Santa Monica and Kahuku and then Los Alamitos, Iolani, Moanalua and Mid-Pacific in the other.
Cindy, thanks for the information on Nikki Taylor. Knew she played club during the summer, feared that she may have reinjured herself. Hope its not too late to cancel my doctors appiontment, won’t be needing medication for anxiety now.
I really liked the play of #1 for Kahuku, not sure who she is since the Kahuku roster only has names.
babes daughter (aneli’s niece) plays for kahuku… does anyone know if she’s playing with them still, i believe this will be her senior year.
She has been attending Waialua since last year. She played volleyball for the Bulldogs last season and will probably continue to do so.
Great to see Kahuku alumni Camilla Ah Hoy & Tuli Peters coaching this squad. They were apart of a great era while the Ah Hoys were running the girls VB program. I miss those Kahuku teams.
