Baylor playing well. Cal obviously not. Baylor had a 24-20 lead, Cal closed to 23. Jones finally ended it 25-23.
As for Croson, no didn’t go to practice Thursday. As Ann wrote, Croson missed practice. Shoji said this morning on Bobby’s Show (although it was Scott with Bobby on the road for football) that it would be a game-time decision but that likely Kastl will start on the left, Goodman on the right.
Cal up 5-1 in Set 2. TO Baylor.

Cal. tied with Baylor, 15-15. Play not that pretty.
Cindy, who is that big guy sitting next to you, he is one big human being.
John, drawing a blank on his last name. long time head of officials for the Big West/MPSF
Baylor on a 3-0 run, takes a 20-18 lead. TO Cal.
Cal has tied it at 20. Baylor back up at 21-20.
As big as he is, nobody would dare argue with him.
Just showed Jane texting, she has really quick thumbs.
Just showed Croson. She looked like she will play
Don’t have a lineup yet. so don’t know if she’ll start.
Baylor up 23-20. TO Cal.
Cal has tied it at 23. TO Baylor
She is dressed out to play, and her thumbs look quite healthy.
the question is will she start. don’t know yet.
Baylor wins 26-24.
Cindy,
Do you know which players California is missing from their starting lineup due to injury?
Robin Rostratter (5’11 Senior Libero) and Corey Johnson (6’4 Senior Middle/Opposite)
Thanks vballfreak808, was just wondering, cause Cal. does not look like a Top 25 team.
Johnson now in and is 3-0-3.
I agree with Cal not being a Top 25 team anymore. Injuries are really hurting this team. IF they lose to Baylor tonight and lose to Hawaii, they are definitely out of the Top 25 since they are already on the edge at #25.
Cal up 15=13 at the TTO. could be a long night.
Baylor up 19-17. TO Cal.
Baylor keeping that 2-point separation. it’s 21=19. TO Cal.
Cal has closed to 22-21. TO Baylor.
as happened in Set 1, Baylor with match point at 24-21. Cal has closed to 24-23. TO Baylor.
Baylor survives a bad overpass by their libero. Bears win 25-23.
thanks. Johnson is in Set 3, wearing a brace on her left leg.
Ah, just heard Jen Carey is engaged.
Happy for her tho.
What is it with all these push and dink shots, does either team know how to hit the ball hard.
It is driving me crazy.
