Brennan surgery successful
By Dave Reardon
Colt Brennan just told us his hip labrum surgery today was successful. He’s in some pain, but that’s normal. He wants to thank his doctors, Marc Philippon and Warren Kramer, as well as their staffs.
Brennan went to Vail, Colo., for the surgery, and is recovering there.
“I should be able to start working out with my upper body in 10 days. Basically, I can start throwing, stationary, in two weeks if everything goes well,” Brennan said in a phone interview this afternoon. “They say 8 to 12 weeks (for complete recovery), but I can still go to mini-camp (the week after the April 26-27 Draft) and at least put on the gear and do some things.”
He said it was the first surgery he’s undergone for a football injury. He previously had a cyst and wisdom teeth removed.

Hopefully team physicians will cross their T’s/dot their I’s by consulting with his surgeon to better assess Colt’s situation. All we want is for Colt to have a fair shot come draft day. Thanks Dave 4 keeping us in the know all day long.
