Hopefully the WAC remembers to submit her name for National POW.
Way to go Kanani!!! Lead this team to the Promised Land.
Why is it UH can put up all the 2011 media guides for all the men’s sports but not the Wahine ?
LC, i’ll remind the SID about the media guide. It’s out. I got a copy Friday.
LC, the SID said he’d put it up later today. This is his first year and think it was one of those things that was overlooked.
Thank You Cindy. I wasn’t sure whose job it was and didn’t know who to contact
Hopefully Hartong will also get the award. She played awesome. Loved her jump serve. Very nice!
Agree that Hartong has an awesome jump serve! hope the coaches let her keep serving
I agree with you again. She had 6 aces in the last match. That`s gotta make coach Shoji happy. I think that probably even surprised him. I think Hartong serving like that will definitely help us down the road. She`s unreal!! She`s like Kanani, can do everything. Props to Kanani and all the Wahine!
I always thought that was her middle name, Kanani Pow Danielson.
another hurrah for hartong; what a weekend she had! i’m sure she feels good about it and i hope she gets a lot of playing time. go bows!
Ohio State players blog that they arrived yesterday and headed to the beach for surfing lessons.
Looking at the rosters of this weeks tournament these are some really big teams in height.
Wichita State twitted a lot during their trip and it sounds like they had a great time with statements like I love Hawaii and never want to leave and fans here were great to us.
hartong is quick to the ball.
Quickness and efficiency is the key for Na Wahine, since the team is not endowed with height. I recall back in the late 80s or early 90s when Hawaii was ranked #1 they got beat by Nittaidai, who’s tallest player was 5’11. Quickness and efficiency beat um’
