enough of the name calling

I am deleting all name calling. As I have said for years, MY blog, MY rules. so STOP already.
If you don’t like it. go find another place to rant. there are plenty of other sites. This is about discussing volleyball, not egos or stalking.
It is a valid complaint that we don’t have more on Wahine volleyball in the daily. but when the two of us are working on the preview mag it takes a lot of time. I have not had a day off since i got back on Aug. 7. Sunday the 19th will be my first day off in 12 days.
And enough with the lawsuit threats. Libel law is very specific and defamation of character takes a lot to prove, especially when your screen name is not your real name. So unless “Vinny” wants to give out a real I.D. … I’m just saying.

Volleyshots

Amen.
Until I moved to Hilo several years ago I was an avid season ticket UH VB Fan. I doubt pretend to know much about the game and the strategy. I just know i enjoyed watching good players playing their hearts out for UH and it’s fans. For the most part I enjoyed reading the comments posted on this blog. Recently it has gotten harder and harder to get past all the “drama” that has nothing to do with the outstanding level of VB we are fortunate to have here in Hawaii Nei. I look forward to reading more about VB and less about who knows what about whoever or whatever. Let’s celebrate how great it is to be a part of this marvelous team. Go Bows! O.k., back to lurking…:>)
I totally agree with you, sometimes I come here and then I see certain posters and read a couple of their comments and think to myself, “here we go again.” So I don’t even bother posting.
I can’t wait to watch Wahine VB this season. This team is going to have a different identity & I’m sure will be very good. It is going to be very fun to watch how the returnees have improved and how the transfers will contribute. GO BOWS!
Sorry for the name calling cindy but “Vinnys” ridicoulous Kastl bashing needs to be called out and he needs to be banned.
Agree that Vinny’s comments were ridiculous but I’m not banning anyone …. for the moment. will delete when needed.
Thanks for everyone else staying sane.
M comments were about what Ms Kastl said, I didn’t make it up.
Are we back to this again. Glad i missed it. Waited almost 8 months for this, and in 7 days we get to see the Wahine’s on the floor again.Just enjoy the ladies and the entertainment they provide.
Kazu,
Not 7 days, just 6 days, 16 hours, and 44 minutes, and counting, till we all can celebrate the start of another Wahine Volleyball season.
You’re right. Starts on Friday.GO BOWS !!!!!! Sure like to find out what the talent contest or whatever it was is all about. Do you have any info?
Glad I missed all the drama on here. Been in hibernation. I`m ready for another season of volleyball. Can`t wait for the season to start.
I”m sure UH had its share of homesick players return back home to play, so its not uncommon. Season hasn’t even started and yet its getting crazy again.
Glad to hear the ENOUGH ALREADY!!!. I appreciate the knowledgable contributions from your reasonable contributor- fans. For goodness sakes! this a a COLLEGE team ….. YOUNG WOMEN in their late teens and early twenties!!!! playing what they – and we – love –VOLLEYBALL. Let’s just enjoy the game and their efforts.
Thanks, Cindy! Looking forward to the start of the new season and the preview magazine.
GO BOWS!!!
Cindy:
I have always thought that people that comment should use their real names so that we could consider the source.
Cindy
Thank you so much for all of your daily insight on the practice’s. It is greatly appreciated from all of our family here in Arizona. We look forward to traveling to Hawaii and being a part of Hawaii volleyball.
Ann Kastl welcome to the Wahine blog. Ashley will provide the much needed experience and firepower we lost with the grad of Kanani and Chanteal. The timing couldn’t have been better with Ashley coming in. We fans really looking forward to seeing her and the new girls this season, starting with the scrimmage today.
If it is the Kastls, welcome. but since we don’t require registration anyone can create a name.
I wish we did, or at least require a legitimate email address. There are times when I have tried to answer personally … I get copies of all posts in my email box .. but it bounces back as bogus.
Off to the arena. will try to go live if there is wireless. if not, will update later.
Hi Cindy. Looking forward to the preview mag. Will there be a theme this year?
As always, there is a theme. Don’t know if it will the award winner that last year’s chemistry issue was but the coaches and players have had fun being part of it.
I appreciate how accommodating they always are.
It comes out either Thursday or Friday.
Looking forward to the practice. Got my potluck dish and ready to go. Ann K., as you know by now, we take our volleyball very seriously. The girls become like rock stars here and sometimes we go over-board. I am sure your daughter will enjoy the experience and so will you when you visit the “Stan” arena.
Ron
Hope you are willing to share your thoughts, observations of todays practice.

So whats on your menu today?
Too bad that some people get so caught up as spectators of sports that they lose perspective, abandon long-held values, become rude and make personal attacks. They should strive to be gentlemen and ladies no matter the topic.
