LEWISTON, Idaho >> Practicing in the rain at a high school grass field isn’t the most ideal warm-up for a game under a dome the next day, but the Warriors seemed to come out of it unscathed.
Quarterback Colt Brennan looks ready to play, but receiver Jason Rivers did not suit up.

D: What is it about JRiver’s back that’s keeping him sidelined?

It’s a nagging strain. He said doctors are still looking at X-ray and MRI resuilts.

If Rivers’ can’t go, don’t worry we still have Malcolm Lane and Greg Salas.
Rivers is the veteran receiver, but Lane and Salas are capable back-ups.
I trust we will see Blaze Soares in action.

Jason needs to rest this one out. Relax, and just yell loud from the sidelines while wearing your uniform. Be the be 12th man support this week.
For the weather, wait until Nevada. This is nothing.
Mahalo Dave for all your work and updates. See everyone at gametime tomorrow.
GO,GO,GO, WARRIORS!

Very true about Nevada. Heard it was “snowy” and “cold” in Reno last night…and it’s not even winter yet.
With JRiv, I knew that when JJ mentioned he felt bad for him because it was his Sr year, I knew the back was bad.
Get well soon Jason.
