Gerke to Samoa

Running backs coach Alex Gerke is going to American Samoa next week. He hasn’t been there before.”This is my first barbecue,” said the first-year UH assistant.UH coacbes have actively recruited there in recent years. Melila and Amani Purcell, Keith AhSoon, Larry Saufea and Jason Laumoli are some of the UH players of recent vintage who are from American Samoa. And how could I forget Isaac Sopoaga?

dont know for sure but maybe because Rich’s wife is about to give birth in the next couple weeks? Even though Alex hasnt been there before, he’s known among the population with his history at Utah and Golden West, where he always had Samoan boys on the team. He’ll do well there, he’s got a great (yet a little wild) personality

Matagisila Lefiti played for Leone HS before moving to Cali and finish off HS at Mater Dei.
Speaking of Gerke, the guy coached a lot of Polynesian Olinemen while at Utah. I can’t wait to hear news about scholie offers to guys from SouthPac.
