Wasn’t Leah Ferris also a national champion long distance runner in the early 60’s for UH? Or did she win an Olympic medal? She was my PE teacher and I remember hearing that she was a big time runner.

I may be a minority in Hawaii, but I seriously queston whether UH made the right hiring in regards to the football coaches. Coach Mack has no D1 college experience as a head coach, yet UH decides to pay him over a million dollars a year, more than what JJ got paid. He then proceeds to hire more inexperienced coaches with either no D1 coaching experience, or promotes them with little experience at a D1 level. It sounds like the Fred vonAppen days all over again. Only time will tell, but that time is coming soon with a game in Florida. I say we win 2 games tops.

GM is a mistake!!! Too much money, no experience= very little wins.

    Isn’t this way off topic?

Congrats to all of the past champs.
