Graduation day
By Jason Kaneshiro
Fifteen current or former Warrior football players were among those who picked up their diplomas this morning at UH’s spring commencement ceremony at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Of those 15, five — Jeramy Bryant, Laupepa Letuli, Elliott Purcell, Mana Silva and Spencer Smith — will be with the team in the fall.
Also graduating were Greg Alexander, Cameron Allen-Jones, J.P. Davis, Tim Grasso, Joe Lipp, Daniel Libre, Chad Mock, Jon Medeiros, Joshua Rice and Blaze Soares.
Here’s the complete list of 62 UH student-athletes, courtesy of hawaiiathletics.com, who graduated this semester or will during the summer.
At least one wasn’t at today’s ceremony. Katie Grimes, a catcher with the UH softball team, is in Las Cruces, N.M. as the Rainbow Wahine take on Fresno State for the WAC tournament championship.
