Just wondering but why are they not showing Saturdays match?

    • volleyball fan January 4, 2013 at 3:36 pm

I wondered, too, so I checked BYU sports schedule and found out that they will televise a simultaneous basketball match against San Francisco on Saturday night which takes place at a different gym, of course. UH, of course, does not schedule simultaneous matches like this at home. So that’s your answer.

The blocking and serving are just not good right now.

  • warriofan January 4, 2013 at 5:13 pm

Also too many errors, not sure how this team can pick up the hitting percentages.

  • warriofan January 4, 2013 at 5:18 pm

Marks is an error machine so disappoiting,

  • warriofan January 4, 2013 at 5:21 pm

Well this is over, not a good showing.

  • warriofan January 4, 2013 at 5:37 pm

Tough match, Way too many hitting and serving errors yet again, no improvement at all from last season in that department. The passing seems improved so that’s a plus.

  • warriofan January 4, 2013 at 6:23 pm

The lack of talent is pretty glaring, that Jace Olsen who was 3rd string at PSU can come in and be OH1 at UH says it all. PSU is not even a top 5 team.

    UH desperately needs Jonas.
Hope they can take a set or two , hopefully 3 tomorrow.

Wow looking at the stats, Olsen had as many hitting errors as the entire BYU team, not good.
and JP continutes to hit woefully, I think going back to last season he hasn’t hit over . 100 , in over ten matches, that’s just terrible for any outside hitter, especially in the men’s game.
