He thought going to USC was a real possibility.I suggested San Diego but he thought USD would be seeded too to end up in his bracket.instead … Hawaii (28-3) will be heading to the sub-regional hosted by USC this week as the seventh overall seed in the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament.The Rainbow Wahine put their 15-match winning streak on the line against Belmont (25-7), the champion of the Atlantic Sun Conference, in a first-round match Friday.In the other match, host USC (16-11) faces San Diego (23-4), the West Coast Conference champion.The winner of the sub-regional at USC advances to the regional at Colorado State. Also seeded in that regional is No. 2 Stanford.The overall No. 1 seed is defending champion Penn State (32-0) with Texas No. 3.
