Hewitt an alternate on A2 team

just found out that Brittany Hewitt was named an alternate for the A2 team. don’t know much else. too bad. she led the country last year and was leading the country for much of 2009.

She sat out the recent scrimmage with a sore back so I wonder if that affected her at the tryouts.
Shoji really found a diamond in the rough with Hewitt. She is awesome now. I for one am so glad she’s got two years left.
The A2 head coach is from Ohio State so we’ll have a chance to give him an ear full when we play them this year.
Is the (former) HC from the Dominican Republic still ‘in town’; & (if so) what is he doing for you, UH admin.?
*Some of those jr. girls–esp. that one MB–could rip last summer in MX.

That’s alright. She’s an alternate on the 2A team,but she’s still nbr one in the eyes of many wahine fans,so who cares what the rest of the country thinks of her.Take care of that back Britt,need you to be in top shape come fall. GO BOWS!!!!

The coaches of the A2 team hail from Ohio State,Dayton and LSU. When the roster is announced it will be interesting to see what regions of the country those selected come from.

I know what you mean. Very concerned about the 2012 class. Only one recruit thus far. All the top dawgs are working on their 2013 & 2014 classes already.

Should the NCAA decide to constrain eligibility even further, moreover, ‘you’re’ looking at that much less/an inferior of a talent pool.

. there was speculation that he’d retire when Erik went to Stanford. Didn’t happen.
He enjoys what he does. He’s excited about the recruits he has coming in. He’ll retire when he retires.
seems Shoji renewed his contract (a 5-year deal) sometime last year… so if these certain “whisperings” about Shoji leaving after this upcoming season are truly going around, people shouldn’t take them too seriously.
