thanks for the tip on the free live video feed. will be listening to the games this friday and saturday.

Thanks for the info about the live feed. Since Dave Shojii is one of the winningest coaches in the sport, does anyone know why he is not in the volleyball hall of fame? What can the fans do to make this happen?

The procedure for being nominated for the Hall of Fame can be found on the AVCA site and it’s pretty simple.
“Nominations can be made by any AVCA member and must be accompanied by two (2) supporting endorsements. The nominee’s resume must accompany the nomination form.”
Fans can’t do anything unless they are an AVCA member.With all the people Dave is friends with in AVCA including all the former assistants that we had who went on to head coaching jobs it would seem to me that someone would have done it by now, go figure.

Thanks DM, posted the info a few months ago as well as listed as an IS IT JUST ME item in our VB Guide season preview. Shoji jokes that now that Deitre is in, maybe she’ll have some pull.

Ratings for the regular season matches must be only ok if K5 isn’t interested in carrying them.

I think it’s more the economy. but I am a little surprised since KFVE isn’t doing the football game so no conflict. plus match is at 4 p.m. HST and would likely be over with before football starts.
