Warriors playing well enough to take an 18-12 lead. still a long road back to win this one.
Justine Wong-Orantes,a first-team All-American setter at Los Al and former teammate and BFF of Jane Croson is considering an offer from UH.
IMO 5′6 is kinda short for a D1 setter .

Well, there is quite the LosAl connection already.
tigers leading in Set 4 15-12.
Warriors hanging in there. Win set 4 27-25. had set point at 25-24. needed kills by Marks and Hunt to finish it.
UH 1-1 in 5 setters, First 5-setter for Tigers
Perhaps they’re planning to use her as a libero.
Or perhaps she is a beach volleyball recruit….
Hope they can pull this one out, I will not be able to take them losing to ucsd and pacific in the same season
Hawaii up early in Set 5 3-0, but it’s just 6-5 now.
Warriors 38-1 vs. UOP, have won the last 29.
Ugh they let a big lead go away very quickly.
WF, they’ve been doing that all season. it is frustrating.
Warriors up 10-7, Hunt with 23 kills, West and Averill 11 each, Marks 10.
a couple of unfortunate serving errors, but a huge block by west. he’s been on fire lately.
Hunt by kill makes it 13-10. UOP scores, 13-11
Kill by Hunt 14-11
If Nick Castello was a few inches taller i would seriously make him the starting setter. sweet sweet hands. great comeback!!
WOW! What a cross-court back set from Nick!! He’s awesome! Nick for setter!!
Warriors finish it off with a block 15-11
Nice win. UH won behind the experience of Hunt. With a little more experience and maybe a few years, this team could be a really good team. Coach and team, especially Hunt, should be congratulated.
I’m glad they pulled it out…UOP’s live stats site is really cool…
That was a close match. Hawaii almost lost the fourth set and then hung on by its teeth. I got to watch some of it.
