Predictions for tonight

By Dave Reardon

Inoke Funaki passes for 2 TDs and rushes for another. … Leon Wright-Jackson goes over 100 rushing. … Pick 6 for Ryan Mouton or Adam Leonard. … Cameron Higgins plays well, but is no Tim Tebow and does not have Florida-type speed to work with (who does?). … Hawaii wins the Mack Bowl, 38-14. … Agree, disagree?

How we win will be important– especially on offense. Want to see crisp execution and “the offense” producing the yardage and points instead of Funaki scrambling to make things happen.
On defense, we need the dominating performance which we are capable of. Control their running game and cover their passing game well.
Disciplined and smart special teams play would also be good.
This will show the coaches and players making progress and prepare us for some tough games ahead.

    Hawaii 34
    Weber State 21

one of the weber scores will be on defense/special teams. the other will be late fourth. inoke goes for 300+ yds, 3TD, 0INT. bain and salas with good games. leon and pilares rush for 60 apiece, leon scores. graunke plays a series in the fourth.

oregon state looking pretty poor right now. see you at the game next week.

I’m not sure if it is likely or not, but UH needs to spank Weber State to boost our confidence going into Oregon State. Defense needs to shot for a shutout. 45-10, Hawaii.

    my prediction;

tyler graunke enters the game and lights it up. quarterback controversy is now in full swing.

cameron higgins and ryan eastman both have a good game. both former crusaders have a little something to prove since they weren’t offered by the warriors.

warriors led by coach mack come out with “smoking guns” or is it “smoking spears” after being embarassed on national tv again last week by an SEC powerhouse.

hawaii 5-0 theme sets the energy level for the crowd for the rest of the game.

warriors win in all phases of the game eventually after graunke comes in ‘lights out’.

    56-10 the home team.

  6. UHM92 Says:

Agree on the win, but by a slightly higher margin.

I also think that Gruanke will get some playing time to be looked at for the OSU game, and he’ll have some points on the board as well.

  7. Justin Says:

I have a feeling that we will get a special teams touchdown. I got my money on Mouton or Jovonte. Fonoti and Veikune will get multiple sacks.
