Who was Tita Ahuna? What kind of event will this be? Are you inviting the public? If so, why? What is happening to UH or something else must be up? You news media must be surreal or what?

Tita Ahuna? The captain of the wahine’s last NCAA title team in 87 as well as the NCAA DII Coach of the Year when leading Hawaii Pacific to the DII title in the 90s.
sadly, just learned she is no long on the schedule. They hope to have her soon.

Should be exciting to see who gets playing time with all the players: Longo, Maeda, Blake, Lelepali, Mendoza, Kam, Spieler, and Kawamura.

Does anyone know when the roster will be released? All the new players are enrolled and are in school and I think all the returnees are back except for Croson who will be back tomorrow.

Roster will be release few days after the official start of practice which I think will be on the week of Aug. 6th. Given the number of incoming and returning players this year, not everyone might make the cut. There’s also a lot of uncertainty on how the line up will look like this year for example, Shoji made some points on his chat on UH Wahine FB saying that all OH are potential RS and so on and so forth. Indeed, fans are in for a surprise on what’s coach Shoji is cooking in the kitchen.

Six more week until game time and many of our questions will be answered. It will take a little longer to see how good we will be but I am very hopeful for an exciting season. I will be surprised if there are not major changes in the line-up over the season
