Wow, Interesting night for UCR good for them.
This is why I love BBall and Vball, the ball is round-It took UH 5 sets to take out UCI on their last meeting and it took UCR in 4. Same with UH-UCLA-AZ deal. One can never under estimate any opponent!

Somebody needs to explain to Jim , we just played a Division 2 team ,that is why the RPI is dropping . I really do not think thats the best way to ready the Wahine for tournament play . Team is to slow to play in the PAC 12 . To predictable in setting , and you always know where they are going . Guess where .

The RPI is not affected by playing a DII team.

Really ! That is what i am saying , you have to play ranked teams to gain recognition . Thus moving UP the RPI …. I hope we are not shocked when tournament time comes …..GO WAHINE !!!!!!!

so yes, REALLY. This is conference play time. you aren’t going to get any out of conference team here for a single match. And UH wasn’t going to travel for a single match. That was the point of moving the CSUN road match from this week to the beginning part of the schedule.

What do you think would have happened if we LOST ?

    • Cindy Luis November 9, 2012 at 10:55 am

If they would have lost to BYUH, it would have affected the rankings by the AVCA coaches but not the RPI. since there is no computer rankings in DII there is nothing for the DI computer to analyze.
Playing BYUH was better than having an off week.
If you remember when the schedule first came out, UH was supposed to be on the road for a single match at CSUN this week.
That match was rescheduled so that UH didn’t have to make another trip to the mainland … and it would have been for one match.
