men in January with the Outrigger Classic.
See new thread on Wahine tonight at Nevada
UCLA upsets California 3-1
Stanford sweets USC 3-0
Few upsets.
yahooooooo!
Oops I think I meant sweeps.
UW beat AZ 3-2
Don’t forget to vote for Kanani!! Just google “Lowe’s senior class award volleyball.”
Oregon lost to Utah in five.
Schedule for Men’s VB was just recently completed and should be posted on the UH website any day now. Of note on this year’s schedule is Nittaidai from Japan.
Div.II / Pacific West Conf., 2nd West Regional Rankings (&questionables…hmm)

the avca poll as I see it should be in the comic section.
Northern Iowa is 14 with a high rpi. If you look at their schedule it just does not compute.
Minnesota sweeps Illinois (H)
Penn State beat Nebraska in 4.
Watching the Wahine match against Nevada on the CBS video. Rather dark but adequate. Hawaii leading 20-14 after starting slow.
Hawaii wins the first set 25-14.
Update???
Scores anyone???
Hawaii wins the second set 25-21. Was close until Hawaii pulled away at the end.
Nevada was scrappy and Hawaii had some problems with some wicked jump serves by Nevada.
Thank You LBoy
Hawaii hitting really well. Danielson and Croson with 8 kills each and hitting .438 and .429 respectively. Hewitt with 3 kills and 3 block assists and Satele with 4 kills and hitting .375. MIddles not set very much, 10 between Hewitt and Hartong. Satele has an amazing hitting percentage this year for an outside, way above .300.
10-6 Hawaii in the 3rd set.
UCLA is leading Stanford 2 sets to 1.
see knew thread on 10-29 scores
17-10 Hawaii in 3rd set. Shoji used the regular starters. Guess the 2nd set was too close for comfort. Usually the 3rd set against a WAC bottom dweller, lots of the bench players get playing time.
Now 20-11. Hawaii closing to a sweep.
After four hitting errors in a row, Hawaii finally close out Nevada 25-17. A sweep.
UCLA swept Stanford. Also Idaho is leading NMSU 2 sets to 1.
