The Rainbow Wahine, who visited five states since leaving Honolulu on May 10, are spending their Sunday morning packing up one more time before heading home following their stay at the Women’s College World Series.

Seven players — Stephanie Ricketts, Kelly Majam, Jenna Rodriguez, Mikalemi Tagab-Cruz, Tara Anguiano, Kaia Parnaby and Brynne Buchanan) are heading to California tonight. The rest will check out of Oklahoma City today and spend the night in Tulsa. From there, the travel party will split among three flights bound for Honolulu on Monday. They’re scheduled to reunite at 3:15 p.m. Monday at HNL.

Now, why are they going to TULSA to fly out? That’s like 90miles up on the tollway….couldn’t they have flown out of OKC? So much better….

Is Cindy Luis still around? If so, will she still be following UH Volleyball, and will she have a blog?

I’m still here. I believe this blog continues this season.

Is Kaia Parnaby staying in the states with some teammates in Cali or is she hopping on a plane back to Australia?

  • Pomai June 7, 2010 at 6:32 pm

Kazz I didn’t see her at the airport so she might be flying home with the mom.

I think a lot of these girls participate in summer leagues. I know Ricketts did last summer.
