    • Cindy Luis November 17, 2012 at 5:18 pm

Blane didn’t say anything about why Hagins is in for Adolpho.

  • beauston November 17, 2012 at 5:17 pm

hop Adolpho is ok and Shoji just giving Hagins playtime tonight

    • warriorfan November 17, 2012 at 5:55 pm

Maybe Kalei took a flight home so she could play with the basketball wahine against Stanford and Baylor? just a guess.

      • Cindy Luis November 17, 2012 at 5:58 pm

No, she didn’t fly back to play this weekend.she has not practiced with bkb team.

Tuaniga in for Hagins in Set 3.

Kudos to the Wahine not showing any fatigue at all after the 5 set match thriller against UOP last night.

well done set 1 for the Bows!

  • beauston November 17, 2012 at 5:31 pm

Like last night, I expect UC Davis to make some adjustment, in set 2 so hopefully the Wahine stay solid.

    • Cindy Luis November 17, 2012 at 5:38 pm

        • Cindy Luis November 17, 2012 at 5:52 pm

Kill by Hagins makes it 19-16. TO UCD. like how Hagins is playing tonight. 5-0-6.

  • warriorfan November 17, 2012 at 6:00 pm

Jeez they almost choked that set 2 away, thank god for emily’s two kills at the end, but she’s the only wahine hitting poorly tonight.

    • Cindy Luis November 17, 2012 at 6:17 pm

Hartong taking a lot of trouble balls which can affect hitting percentage. And the block seems to be stacked, as usual, on her.

      • beauston November 17, 2012 at 6:22 pm

        more so after set 1

  • dedicatedfan November 17, 2012 at 6:03 pm

I totally agree with you, Cindy. Hagins is having a good match so far. She seems a little quicker, laterally, then Adolpho. Maybe, Shoji has found something in Hagins. Now the question is, can she be consistent, not up an down.

    • Cindy Luis November 17, 2012 at 6:18 pm

Don’t know if Hagins is the answer. she does touch a lot of balls and there wasn’t a lot of video tape on her to scout so that may have thrown UCD off.

      • Cindy Luis November 17, 2012 at 6:21 pm

Wahine out to a 15-9 lead at the TTO
Tuaniga 2-0-3. good connections with the middles today.

Congratulations to the girls for the sweep, and to Coach Shoji for his 1,100th win.

  • Kazu November 17, 2012 at 6:47 pm

I’m glad Hagins got to start. Hope she gets to start the next two matches at home.

    • mauna November 17, 2012 at 7:27 pm

I agree, Hagins can develope to be a force at 6-4 with more playing time and confidence shown by the staff, which in turn will gain her confidence in her play.
