Wahine stay at No. 3

By Cindy Luis

No surprise about that. Nothing will change … maybe … unless penn state and Texas have a loss and, even then, not sure if Hawaii will get any higher.

  1. Jon Says:

I’m really curious as to why Texas and Penn State do not have a more equal share of the first place votes. Maybe it’s the precedent set by Penn State leading up to today, but they don’t seem to be as dominant as last year, and, as we saw firsthand, Texas certainly is.

  2. Don Says:

I think the coaches believe that Penn St. is too dangerous, even though they lost 2 sets @ Michigan. Texas looks beatable, since they have had more sets taken off of them. If a team puts together 3 good sets and/or catches Texas on an off-night, bye bye top 5 for the ‘Horns.

  3. Haushinka Says:

I saw Penn State on ESPN (or some other sports channel) a few nights ago against Illinois.. damn… they are NUTS!!!!

  4. Cindy Luis Says:

saw a bit too. i think Penn State-Texas would be a very entertaining match.
