Washington, Soares and Allen-Jones stand out in 7 on 7, team

By Dave Reardon

The Warriors held their first 7 on 7 and team drills of fall camp this afternoon.

Inoke Funaki bounced back from having his first pass intercepted by Blaze Soares and completed 6 of 9 including two touchdowns to Mike Washington.

It was all passing. Greg Alexander was 6 for 10, Brent Rausch 6 for 9, Jake Santos 2 for 2 and Shane Austin 2 for 2. One of Austin’s completions was for as TD to Ryan Henry. Soares’ pick was the only one of the day.

Washington, Aaron Bain and Kealoha Pilares had four receptions apiece. DE C.J. Allen-Jones was consistently in the offensive backfield and probably would’ve had a couple of sacks.

The Warriors have been relatively injury-free thus far in camp. RB Jake Heun, however, was limping around today with what looks like a hamstring ailment.
